Possibly as a roundabout way of earning business for its other search engine optimization services. But you can use the free service to help spread the word about a fantastic site, such as, say, http://ridiculouslyinteresting.wordpress.com/. You can submit a charity website too, if you're feeling extra virtuous.


Effort involved: copying and pasting a URL. I suspect you may be able to manage that.
